PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve issues that boundary between detection region and non- detection region is unclear for a user in the case that the detection region in all conventional human detection methods using a pyroelectric sensor has a solid structure and resultantly, the human detector functions undesirably and confusingly so that human detection is made at the time of ON/OFF of the power source of the human detector and access by a person at the opening (inlet/outlet) and detection and counting of exact number of persons passing the opening were not possible. SOLUTION: By flattening the detection region, a human detector capable of clearly distinguishing detection region and non-detection region for a user is provided. By limiting the detection of human only to passing of the opening and arranging the detection region of the human detector in parallel to the opening, a human detection method surely detecting a human is provided. By using a TV or a general remote control switch of a video device, a method for controlling functioning and non-functioning of the human detector sensor by non-contact provided. |
