PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long life air cell even in a state that the air is passed through it, wherein an electrolytic solution composed of an aqueous solution containing neutral salt ions besides an alkaline electrolytic solution is enabled to be retained so that the application range is made wider. SOLUTION: In the air cell having a positive electrode composed of an air electrode, a negative electrode and the electrolytic solution, poly N-vinyl acetamide is made to be contained in at least one of the positive electrode, the negative electrode and the electrode solution. It is preferable that the poly N-vinyl acetamide is made to be contained in the electrolytic solution, and it is preferable that the solid content is made to be 0.3 to 10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the electrolytic solution as its content. |
