PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine capable of eliminating problems such as starting failure or high-load operation impossibility, and preventing problems such as fuel leak, air-fuel ratio fluctuation, and combustion failure in supplying fuel to the engine by a plunger pump. SOLUTION: This gas fuel supply system for a 4-cycle engine (internal combustion engine) 3 in which LPG-fuel in a fuel tank 2 is vaporized to be supplied to an intake system is provided with the plunger pump 20 to measure liquid fuel in the fuel tank 2 in necessary fuel quantity for one cycle to be fed to the intake system under pressure, and a delivery valve 21 connected to a delivery port 20a of the plunger pump 20. Valve opening pressure of the delivery valve 21 is set to be over the maximum vapor pressure in the fuel tank 2.
