PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To a cream preparation that can avoid the problems of skin irritation frequently occurring, when external cream preparations are applied to skin. SOLUTION: The objective irritation reduced cream preparation characteristically comprises a higher fatty acid, preferably in 3-10 wt.%, a saponification agent, preferably in 0.02-1 wt.%, a higher alcohol, preferably in 0.1-4 wt.%, an emulsifier, preferably in 0.1-4 wt.%, and this invention provides a method for producing the same.
