PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of efficiently and homogeneously dispersing powder in a liquid dispersion medium. SOLUTION: The objective method for producing a powder-containing cosmetic is characterized by involving using an autorotation-and-revolution type mixer functioning to autorotate a vessel containing both powder and a dispersion medium therein about the rotating axis of the vessel, and concurrently revolve the vessel about the center of the mixer to effect mutually mixing and/or dispersing the powder and the dispersion medium.
