PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for preventing such a sensor of incompatibility that an image on the opposite side is seen through the paper, the images on both sides are seen in an overlaid state, and also, the hue of the image is changed when the images are formed on both sides by a both-side image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: A means for forming a surface side image and a means for forming a backside image are constituted of a means for forming a color toner image by color toner and a means for forming a white toner image by white toner, and the white toner image is formed on the surface side or rear side of a transfer material as an under layer for the color toner image, and in the case of forming the images on both sides of the transfer material, the quantity of the sticking white toner in an area where the area of the surface side image and the area of the rear side image overlap each other is made differ from that in an area where the area of the surface side image and the area of the backside image never overlap each other. |
