<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire clamp device which is used for taking out a current from a hot-line overhead wire and can detect that its contact blade is properly brought into contact with a core wire of the wire. SOLUTION: This wire connection clamp device has a wire holding part 10, a contact blade 14 which is pressed against a held insulated wire, a screw- type drive member 18, and a torque limiter 22 which is connected with the screw-type drive member and turned by a worker. By turning the screw-type drive member via the torque limiter, the contact blade penetrates the insulated wire and is brought into contact with the core wire. There are further provided a switch 81 closed by the idling of the torque limiter and a contact detection circuit which is closed when the switch 81 is closed while the contact blade is brought into contact with the core wire and makes a contact detection component such as a light-emitting diode 82, etc., operate.</p> |
