<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry electrophotographic toner being free of aggregation in a toner bottle and a developing machine and giving an image of good quality. SOLUTION: In the dry electrophotographic toner consisting essentially of a colorant and a binder resin, the binder resin is a copolymer resin comprising (I) a polyol resin part having a polyoxyalkylene moiety in the principal chain obtained by reacting (a) an epoxy resin with (b) a dihydric phenol and (c) an alkylene oxide adduct of a dihydric phenol or its glycidyl ether and (II) a polyester resin part obtained by reacting at least an alkylene oxide adduct of a dihydric phenol or its glycidyl ether and a polycarboxylic acid, the weight ratio between the epoxy resin in the polyol resin part and the polyester resin part is (95:5) to (60:40), the epoxy resin comprises two or more bisphenol type epoxy resins different from each other in number average molecular weight and the acid value of the copolymer resin is <=5.</p> |
