PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a final gas pressure equivalent to a four stage reciprocating compressor in a three stage reciprocating compressor. SOLUTION: A first stage gas compressing part 1, a second stage gas compressing part 2 and a third stage gas compressing part 3 are arranged in a T-shape facing each other. Pistons 1a, 2a, and 3a of each gas compressing part are engaged to yokes 4A and 4B provided in states with phases deviated 90 degrees to a crankshaft 9, and they are operated by converting a rotational motion of a crank pin 10 into reciprocating motions by a scotch yoke mechanism. Sucked gas is compressed sequentially from the first stage gas compressing part, and the final gas pressure (30 MPa) equivalent to a four stage reciprocating compressor is obtained. At this point, sucked gas pressure to the first stage gas compressing part is set high (0.5 MPa). |
