DEMOLITION WORK METHOD FOR IN-TUNNEL TRACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve demolition efficiency. SOLUTION: An in-tunnel track 10 is constructed of a plurality of crossties 12 and a plurality of rails 14. In demolition and removal of the track 10, the track 10 is divided into track blocks 18 each having a plurality of crossties 12 connected by the rail 14. When the track 10 is divided into track blocks 18a-18n, the track block 18a located on the farthest position side from a tunnel entrance is removed first. In this removal, the track block 18a located on the farthest position side from the tunnel entrance is moved upward and then shifted toward the tunnel entrance side to be placed on a rail of another tack block 18b adjacent to the track block 18a, and the placed track block 18a is towed and moved along the rail 14. In this way, the divided track blocks 18a-18n are individually conveyed out sequentially to the outside of the tunnel.
