PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide composition which excels in sliding properties (a low coefficient of friction, a high critical PV value and the like) and excels in mechanical strength, heat resistance, low water absorption, and dimensional stability, and a molded article composed thereof. SOLUTION: The polyamide composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. polyamide composed of (a) a dicarboxylic acid unit containing 60-100 mol% terephthalic acid units and (b) a diamine unit having 60-100 mol% 6-18C aliphatic alkylenediamine units and (B) 0.1-30 pts.wt. fluorocarbon oil, and the molded article is composed of the polyamide composition.
