PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily read a homepage in all information processing devices on a network. SOLUTION: When the information processing device 2 is connected to the network 3, the notice of connection to the network is transmitted to the network 3 (S200). Then the information processing device 2 monitors the network 3 (S201). Since the response of the notice of connection is returned from an information processing device 2' already connected to the network 3, the source of the response is registered in a table (S220). When a plurality of information processing devices are connected to the network 3, a plurality of responses are returned. When a homepage is requested, the information processing device reads the table (S240), investigates the contents and self-status, prepares the homepage (S241), and sends the homepage to the requester (S242). Accordingly, the state of connection on the network 3 in all information processing devices can be known from the prepared homepage.
