PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent ileum-type bile acid transporter inhibitor containing a cyclobutene derivative, a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, or an ester or other derivative thereof. SOLUTION: This ileum-type bile acid transporter inhibitor contains the cyclobutene derivative represented by formula (I) [wherein, R<1> is a cycloalkyl, an aryl, a heterocycle, or the like; R<2> is a cycloalkyl, an aryl, a heterocycle, or the like; R<3> and R<4> are each hydrogen atom, or the like; A is represented by formula (A-1) (wherein, R<5> is hydrogen atom, or the like; R<6> is an amine residue, or the like; X and Y are each oxygen atom, or the like; and Z is a single bond, or the like); G is an alkylene group, or the like; when the broken line is a double bond, D is carbon atom, and E is a group having =N-O-; when the broken line is a single bond, D is a group having CH, or the like, and E is a group having NH, or the like], the pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, or the ester or other derivative thereof.
