PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, quickly, and highly accurately detect a catalog number and the circumferential direction of a grommet having a center hole through which a wiring harness is inserted. SOLUTION: If air supply pipes 7 and 8 are inserted into through-holes 1b and 1c of a grommet 1 (A-C) and air (a) is supplied through the air supply pipes 7 and 8, the presence of cap parts 1h and 1i differs according to the part number A-C of the grommet 1 (A-C) and the presence of air leakage (a') detected by air pressure sensors 9 and 10 differs according to the circumferential direction of the grommet 1 (A-C). With such a constitution, the part number A-C and the circumferential direction of the grommet 1 (A-C) can be detected. |
