ACCUMULATOR FUEL INJECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator fuel injector capable of preventing fuel from being adhered to the wall surface of a cylinder liner by minimizing a fuel pressure at the time of post-injection when the post-injection is performed for increasing the temperature of exhaust emission. SOLUTION: A common rail system having a first high-pressure accumulator and a second low pressure accumulator comprises a post injection control means for additionally injecting fuel by a fuel injection nozzle after fuel is injected by a main injection control means (injector drive signal is turned OFF). The post-injection control means additionally injects low pressure (low pressure at injector inlet) from the second accumulator after the high-pressure fuel from the first accumulator is interrupted by a pressure regulating means (selector valve drive signal is closed).
