PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for the oral cavity, having ameliorated sense of use in spite of having a bitterness component. SOLUTION: This composition for the oral cavity comprises at least one kind selected from the group consisting of (a) an inorganic compound selected from the group consisting of potassium chloride, potassium nitrate, zinc chloride, crystalline cellulose and magnesium chloride, (b) an organic compound selected from the group consisting of polyethylene glycols, 1,3-butylene glycol, propylene glycol, lauromacrogol, a sucrose fatty acid ester and a glycerol fatty acid ester and (C) an extract selected from those of a tea tree oil, propolis, Eucalyptus globulus oil, tea essence, yucca essence, clove oil, Coptis japonica powder and oolong tea essence as a bitterness component and >=1 pts.mass of sodium bicarbonate based on 1 pt.mass of the bitterness component. |
