<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the frequency of knocking by suppressing exhaust temperature rise resulting from a continuously long time for controlling ignition timing delay, preventing the breakage of an exhaust pipe and a supercharger and setting a smaller value for a target supercharging pressure to suppress suction air temperature rise when continuously controlling ignition timing delay for a long time, and to suppress knocking even in the continuous condition of high outside temperature and long sloping travel. SOLUTION: This knocking control device for an internal combustion engine with a supercharger comprises knocking suppressing means for delaying an ignition timing when the conditions of executing knocking control is established by knocking detecting means and supercharging pressure control means for controlling a supercharging pressure to be a target supercharging pressure, wherein a function is provided, in addition to the knocking suppressing means, for controlling a value for the target supercharging pressure to be smaller than a reference value when the amount of ignition timing delay is larger than a set value and a value for an accumulated time with the amount of the ignition timing delay being continuously larger than the set value is larger than a time value.</p> |
