PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic reinforcing structure for a column equipped with walls, which can effectively bind the column without destroying the walls or sashes in the existing building. SOLUTION: According to the seismic strengthening structure 1 for the column equipped with the walls, a reinforcing plate 5 covering the column 3 portion of the column equipped with the walls in the existing building, is connected to the column 3 by means of penetrating bolts 7, which are penetrated through the wall 4 and screwed into nuts 10 arranged at least along one end of the reinforcing plate 5.
