PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a method for assembling the same are provided to satisfy brightness and equal light distribution required for a large liquid crystal display, and reduce the time required for assembling. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes a back light assembly including a lamp assembly having a lamp, a light guide plate(420) receiving light from the lamp assembly, a reflecting plate(450) placed at the lower part of the light guide plate, a diffusion sheet(410) installed on the light guide plate; a bottom chassis including a guider fixing the bottom surfaces of the light guide plate and the reflecting plate; a mediating chassis(300) including a fixing element fixing the upper surface of the light guide plate by pressing; a liquid crystal panel assembly mounted on the fixing element and precisely controlling liquid crystal to display pictures; a top chassis(100) combined with the bottom chassis to press the liquid crystal panel assembly. |
