PURPOSE: A deflection yoke assembly for a CRT is provided to reduce dispersion of characteristics of ferrite core and improve screen quality by preventing movement of the ferrite core. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke assembly comprises a separator(11) integrally inserted into a funnel portion(15) of a CRT(14), and which has a first stopper protrusion formed at the outer surface of the separator; a ferrite core(12) having an end with a first coupling groove(23) such that the first protrusion of the separator is inserted into the first coupling groove when the ferrite core is coupled to the separator, wherein the ferrite core has the other end with a plurality of second coupling grooves; and a support member(13) having a plurality of second stopper protrusions(30), such that the support member fixes the ferrite core to the separator by permitting the second stopper protrusions to be coupled to the second coupling grooves formed at the ferrite core, when the support member is coupled to the separator.
