摘要 PURPOSE: Structure for reducing the vibration of a steering wheel of a vehicle is provided to prevent the generation of excessive vibration from a steering wheel, to remove the discomfort of a driver, and to improve the reliability of vehicle performance by increasing the natural frequency of a steering system. CONSTITUTION: In a steering bracket(5), pipes(6,7) are inserted to the front and rear portions of the steering bracket for connecting a steering column with a cowl cross member(1). An upper steering bracket(5a) and a lower steering bracket(5b) are welded to connect the pipes. The pipes are connected by bolts and nuts(8,9). According to the structure, the natural frequency of a steering system is increased. Thus, the idling frequency of an engine is not the same as the natural frequency of the steering system. Accordingly, vibration due to the resonance between the engine and the steering system is reduced.
