PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet managing device capable of preventing theft or exchange of a recording sheet set in a paper feeding tray with a simple and inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: This managing device for recording sheets set in a paper feeding tray of an image forming device is composed of a tray detecting sensor detecting whether the paper feeding tray is pulled out from an image forming device body or not, a sheet remaining amount detecting means detecting the remaining amount of the recording sheets in the paper feeding tray, a remaining amount comparing means comparing detected values of the sheet remaining amount detecting means before and after pulling out and inserting of the paper feeding tray, when the paper feeding tray is judged to be pulled out/inserted from/in the image forming device body on the basis of an output signal of the tray detecting sensor, and a warning means warning a manager of the image forming device when the remaining amount of the recording sheets in the paper feeding tray is judged to be changed from the comparing result in the remaining amount comparing means. |
