GRATING FOR LEAD-ACID BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight grating for a lead-acid battery excellent in adhesion between the grating itself and an active material and in holding power of the active material. SOLUTION: This grating for a lead-acid battery is formed of lead or a lead alloy. The area of each rhombus of the grating is 1 cm<2> or more. The grating has a lead alloy containing 0.2-5 wt.% of calcium or magnesium at least at part of the surface thereof.
