PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an air curtain in a ventilation zone so that contaminated air may not go to a nonsmoker even in a case that smokers and nonsmoker are precent mixedly within a room. SOLUTION: Desk-top information terminals PDA11-PDAmn are provided with air curtain request switches AS, temperature adjustment request switches TA, and display DP, etc., and the following information sending request is set to a ventilation zone controller VC by operating the air curtain request switch, and a charge for using the air curtain is sent to the desk-top information terminal PDAi and is displayed on the display DP by this ventilation zone controller VC. The user selects whether to use the air curtain or not from this display, and in a case that the user uses the air curtain, an air curtain operation request is sent to the ventilation zone controller VC, and this ventilation zone controller VC operates an air curtain formation mechanism, and performs accounting.
