PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for advantageously solving unstableness which is a problem when a Bi-containing phase is utilized as an inhibitor forming component. SOLUTION: In the hot rolled sheet for a grain oriented silicon steel sheet containing, by mass, 2.5 to 4.5% Si, and further containing a 0.005 to 0.100% B-containing phase and the other inhibitor forming components, the Bi-containing phase having a length of >=20 μm is arranged at a density of >=8 pieces/cm<2> . As the additional elements, 0.050 to 1.5% Mn and 0.02 to 0.5% Cr can be added thereto. Further, as the inhibitor forming elements, small quantities of S, Se, Al, B or the like can further be added thereto. As inhibitor reinforcing components, small quantities of Ni, Cu, Sn, Sb, As, Mo, T, P or the like can be added thereto. |
