PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin composition containing an organic fiber filler, having excellent moldability and giving a molded article having high strength and provide a molded article made thereof. SOLUTION: The objective polypropylene resin composition containing an organic fiber filler contains 100 pts.wt. of a polypropylene resin satisfying the formula (1): log MT>4.24×Log [η]-1.2 ... (1) (MT is melt tension (unit: cN) of the polypropylene resin at 230 deg.C; and [η] is intrinsic viscosity (unit: dl/g) measured in tetralin at 135 deg.C) and 1-250 pts.wt. of an organic fiber filler.
