PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dimensional accuracy of a valve seat in a conventional fuel injection valve. SOLUTION: This fuel injection valve 1 comprises a housing pipe 2, a valve element 41 axially reciprocating in the housing pipe 2, and a body valve 6 provided with a bottom wall 61 having a valve seat 60 on which the valve element 41 is seated and a side wall 63 raised from the periphery of the bottom wall 61 and forming a thermal joint portion 62 in a space with the housing pipe 2. Before joining the housing pipe 2 and the body valve 6, a thermal deformation absorbing space 65 for absorbing thermal deformation due to joining heat is previously provided between the thermal joint portion 62 and the seat valve 60.
