PURPOSE: A flux cored wire for gas shielded arc welding is provided to obtain welded metal having excellent toughness at low temperatures while minimizing spatter and fume. CONSTITUTION: In a flux cored wire for gas shielded arc welding where titania based flux is charged in sheath for mild steel of low carbon steel, the titania based flux comprises TiO2 4.0 to 8.0 wt.%, Mn 1.0 to 3.0 wt.%, Si 0.1 to 1.0 wt.%, B 0.002 to 0.02 wt.%, Mg 0.2 to 0.45 wt.%, Al 0.15 to 0.3 wt.% based on the total weight of flux cored wire. Preferably, Mg/Al is 1.45 to 1.55.
