PURPOSE: A remote control monitoring network device using a telephone line is provided to transmit the state of an object photographed at a random place to a supervisor of a remote place through the telephone line. CONSTITUTION: Video input units(10a,10b,20a,20b) receive video information of objects located at a certain region, convert received video information into digital or analog signals, and output the digital or analog signals. Video processing units(100a,100b,200a,200b) convert the digital or analog signals into MPEG(Moving Picture Expert Group) signals, and transmit the MPEG signals through a pair of telephone lines(50). A server(300) receives the MPEG signal transmitted through a pair of telephone lines(50) to transmit the MPEG signal through an Internet network, or decodes the MPEG signal and converts the decoded video signal into an NTSC(National Television System Committee) signal or PAL(Phase Alternation by Line system) signal. Video display devices(410,420,450) receive the MPEG signal or the NTSC or PAL signal outputted from the server(300) and display videos.
