PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an alloy strip having a stable quality and a uniform thickness at high producing efficiency without clogging in a discharging hole of the molten alloy, obtained by melting granular metals in a pot. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the alloy strip from the molten metal obtained by melting the granular raw material alloy in the crucible with discharge of arc, when the raw material alloy is melted by discharging the arc with an arc electrode arranging at the upper part of the crucible, an anode point of the arc is fixed by acting magnetic field to the arc discharge.
