<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent operation stop of information recording medium processing equipment such as an automatic checking and collecting machine as far as possible. SOLUTION: In this information recording medium processing device, when an information recording medium charged into a charge port gets jammed at a feed portion provided near the charge port, the jammed information recording medium is discharged to the charge port side. The information recording medium processing device is composed of a detecting means detecting the information recording medium discharged to the charge port side, a measuring means measuring time for detecting a state that the information recording medium discharged to the charge port side is not discharged from the charge port and caught in the charge port, and a maintaining means maintaining a main body of the information recording medium processing device in an operating state till the measured time exceeds a normal specified time in which a next user charges the information recording medium in the charge port.</p> |
