PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge mask device arranged in an electroplating apparatus which eliminates curtains that cause many troubles, and the operation of which is smoothened and stabilized and improved in the producibility. SOLUTION: In this edge mask device in electroplating tank, a pair of electrodes and edge masks 3a, 3b are arranged opposing each other so as to surround strips 2a, 2b which runs in the electroplating tank 1, and the electrodes and edge masks 3a, 3b are formed in such a manner that the edge masks 5a, 5b are integrally disposed oppositely to the side end part of one side of electrodes 4a, 4b, respectively and are movably disposed in accordance with the width of the strips 2a, 2b.
