PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for maintaining automatic photograph seal vending machine and an automatic photograph seal vending machine which enable elimination of complicated work such as connecting complicated wiring of the vending machine, starting the machine, confirming the operation thereof and checking the connection and the communication state of each of means to be easily switched to the same communication state as normal connection in a short time, even when a connection is wrong. SOLUTION: This machine is provided with an imaging means for photographing video, illumination means for illuminating an object, display means for displaying an image, input means for inputting operation, print means for printing the image and control means for controlling these means and in the method for maintaining the automatic photograph seal vending machine, each of signals transmitted to and/or received from a plurality of means by the control means is operated by the input means and switched on software.
