PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanically reliable optical fiber grating by enhancing the resonance frequency without imparting an excessive tensile force to the optical fiber grating. SOLUTION: The tensile force by which both ends of the grating body 1 are fixed in an enforcing tool 3 is set at 20 gf or below, with the anchoring interval 22 mm or less, which guarantees a resonance frequency to be not less than 2,000 Hz, taking the hardening/shrinking effect of a resin into consideration. Further, in the case of considering deterioration or separation due to secular change in the resin, the anchoring interval is set at 16 mm or less, which guarantees the resonance frequency to be 2,000 Hz or higher.
