PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supplying secondary combustion air, capable of expediting a mixing and agitating action in a secondary combustion chamber. SOLUTION: When the secondary combustion air A is supplied from a plurality of secondary air passages 8, etc., to the secondary combustion chamber 1b, to which primary combustion gas is introduced, a part or all of these air passages 8 are constituted as a pulsating air supply passages 8a, 8b in which flowing air amounts A1, A2 are changed to be increased or decreased at a predetermine period so that the secondary air is supplied from the passages 8a, 8b to the secondary combustion chamber 1b in a pulsating flowing manner.
