PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the inconvenience of the conventional work belts which include a belt body for attaching thereto a tool insertion portion, etc., and connecting belts, the length of the work belt being set such that the tool insertion portion, etc., are disposed right at the side of the waist of the operator having a standard shape when he wraps the belt around his waist, the inconvenience arising when an obese operator wraps the work belt around his waist by extending the connecting belts, because of disposition of the tool insertion portion, etc., not right at the side but near the back of his body, resulting in very difficult working conditions for the operator, and to provide a new work belt which allows a tool insertion portion, etc., to be always arranged right at the side of the waist of the operator. SOLUTION: The new work belt is comprised of a belt body which is arranged mainly near the waist of the operator, for attaching thereto a tool holder, the tool insertion portion, etc., and connecting belts which are arranged mainly near the abdomen of the operator, and attached to both ends of the belt body in a manner extending therefrom in the lengthwise direction. Each connecting belt has a connector at the tip thereof, for annularly connecting the belt. Further, the work belt is comprised of a means for changing the entire length of the belt body, which is arranged at its center.
