PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polymer, and to provide a light emitting element including the polymer and excellent in high-luminance emission, high luminous efficiency and durability. SOLUTION: This polymer is represented by the general formula (1) [wherein, A is a monomer unit having a hole-transportable partial structure and an electron-transportable partial structure in the identical monomer unit; B is a monomer unit having another structure; m is an integer of >=1; n is an integer of >=0; and p and q each represent molar fraction (%), p is 1-100 (%), q is 0-99 (%) and p+q=100 (%)]. The other objective light-emitting element is characterized by including the polymer.
