PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and system and process for manufacturing plasma display panel is provided to improve production efficiency by minimizing gas evacuation time, while preventing deterioration of characteristics of panel caused due to the contamination of protection film. CONSTITUTION: A system for manufacturing plasma display panel, comprises a protection film formation unit for forming an MgO protection film onto an upper plate(93); a cleaning unit for removing impurities from the upper plate and a lower plate(95) which are aligned through a pre-align unit, and performing a vacuum evacuation process; and a discharge gas injection and plate bonding unit(75) for coating a sealing agent to be hardened by ultraviolet rays, to the lower plate which is cleaned by the cleaning unit, injecting a discharge gas to the resultant structure, and bonding the upper plate and the lower plate by permitting the lower plate to tightly contact the upper plate and applying ultraviolet rays to upper and lower plates.
