PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp device for a liquid crystal display device, arranged so as to be able to prevent wire disconnection of the lamp device for the liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The lamp device for the liquid crystal display device is characterized in comprising a lamp for emitting light by using an external voltage supplied from power source terminals for electric discharge, wires for transmitting the voltage, and a connector for bringing the electrodes of the lamp into direct contact with a part of the wires and bringing the electrode of the lamp into electric contact with the wires. |
