Method has the following steps: storing in memory of the source graphical program (in a language such as LD, SFC or FBD) in a PC (54) with the program source (50) in a hierarchical object orientated language such as XML; memorization in the PC of a style folder (52) associated with the graphical language; processing of the source file using the style folder to generate a vector-graphics file (53) containing commands enabling graphical depiction of the automation application on the PC. An Independent claim is made for a computer terminal or PC that can be used to visualize graphic language programs.
