<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin dyestuff association body film which has ultra-high-velocity optical response characteristics and excellent long-term stability (an improvement in optical response and improvement in long-term preservable property) and permits nature control and a method of manufacturing for the same and to provide the optical switch, optical distributor, optical modulator and optical switch train formed by using the thin dyestuff association body film having the ultra-high-velocity optical response characteristics and the excellent long-term stability. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the thin dyestuff association body film having a solution preparing process step of preparing a solution by dissolving a mixture composed of dyestuffs molecules capable of forming the association body and quenchers into a solvent, a thin film forming process step of forming the thin film by applying the solution on a solid substrate and a treating state of treating the thin film by an acid and/or alkali, the thin dyestuff association body film manufactured by this manufacturing method as well as the optical switch, the light distributor, the optical modulator and the optical switch train.</p> |
