PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To request a print management device to perform printing when a printer is not usable. SOLUTION: A center server 102 has an out-of-service printer condition information storage means 210 for registering the out-of-service condition of a printer managed by a plurality of print servers 103. Each of the print servers 103 includes an external print request means 207 for requesting other print servers 103 to print data about the orders of printing, a status registration means 206 for registering in the storage means 210 information about the out-of- service condition of the printer managed by the print server, and a status referring means 206 for referring information about the out-of-service condition of another printer managed by another print server 103 registered in the storage means 210.
