PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal compound-containing polyester resin composition homogeneously containing a metal compound, and further to provide a method for stably producing the composition, a perform for a hollow molded product and the hollow molded product produced from the composition, and a method for producing the perform and the hollow molded product. SOLUTION: This metal compound-containing polyester resin composition is obtained by bringing a chip-shaped polyester resin into contact with a member comprising a polyester resin containing the metal compound under a fluidized condition. The method for producing the metal compound-containing polyester resin composition comprises bringing the chip-shaped polyester resin into contact with a member comprising the polyester containing the metal compound under the fluidized condition to provide the polyester resin containing the metal compound.
