SOLUTION: The central management system 1 comprises a host controller 2, and a plurality of terminal side controllers 3 provided, respectively, for a plurality of showcases S, and the like, and communicable data with the host controller. Upon receiving a control signal from the host controller, the microcomputer of the terminal side controller executes control of the apparatus based on the received control signal and executes control of the apparatus based on data inputted by its own switch when the control signal is not received from the host controller.
