SLIDING DOOR DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door device for an elevator with a roller at the lower end of a sliding door to be movably fitted to a guide groove in a sill and rolled over foreign maters fitted in the guide groove for establishing opening/closing operation. SOLUTION: The sill 7 having the sectionally V-shaped guide groove 8 is provided at the lower edge of an access 1 and a holding mechanism 9 is provided at the lower end of the sliding door 4 for opening/closing the access 1 in such a manner as to be energized downward and normally held at a predetermined move-down position. The roller 16 is pivotally held at the lower end of the holding mechanism 9 and fitted to the guide groove 8 and an information device 20 is energized via a detector 17 which is operated with the move-up operation of the roller 16 to be rolled over the foreign matters 21 in the guide groove 8. Thus, the rolling wheel can be rolled over the foreign matters 21 in the guide groove 8 and the sliding door 4 can be moved to a terminal end of an opening/closing stroke. The opening/closing operation of the sliding door 4 is precluded by the foreign matters 21 in the guide groove 8 to make operation at rest for a long time and avoid the inconvenience of marring serviceability for users.
