METHOD FOR UPGRADING SOFTWARE IN WLL TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for upgrading a software in a WLL(Wireless Local Loop) terminal is provided to download software easily in a WLL terminal by key operation. CONSTITUTION: A user generates a call to a base station controller for receiving a software of a WLL terminal and requests a protocol capability(S101,S103). The base station controller transmits a response about the protocol capability to the WLL terminal(S105). The WLL terminal requests a new software configuration to the base station controller(S107). The base station controller transmits a response about the soft configuration to the WLL terminal(S109). The WLL terminal requests an upgraded software download to the base station controller(S111). The base station controller transmits a response about the software download to the WLL terminal(S113). The WLL terminal sets up a memory for receiving a software transmitted from the base station controller(S115). The WLL terminal requests a software commit to the base station controller(S117). The base station controller transmits a response about the software commit to the WLL terminal(S119).
