<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking method and device which automate marking work of spectacle lenses which is heretofore dependent on manpower. SOLUTION: The prescribed surface of the spectacle lenses is recognized as a reference plane and the reference position on an approximately horizontal surface with the respect to the reference plane and a reference direction are recognized. The first marking position information on the basis of the reference plane and the second marking position on the basis of the reference position and/or reference direction are determined as a mark to be marked. The desired information is marked at the spectacle lenses in accordance with such information.</p> |
