<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device having satisfactory heat radiating property and improved reliability. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a light receiving element for monitor 3, which is formed on a semiconductor substrate 3, a current inhibiting layer 4 formed by giving a prescribed interval from the light receiving element for monitor 3, an insulating film 5 covering the semiconductor substrate 2 and having an opening part M in an area corresponding to the current inhibiting layer 4 and a semiconductor laser element 10 formed by fixing it to the current inhibiting layer 4 by bringing it into direct contact with the layer.</p> |
