PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb using a shroud having a simple structure and a long life. SOLUTION: This bulb 100 includes the outer tube of a sealed light transmitting lamp 105 having an internal space, a base fixed to the outer tube, a non- insulated main conducting wire 160 disposed in the outer tube and connected to the base 110 at one end, a light source 140 capable of generating light in the outer tube, a shroud 145 fixed adjacently to the non-insulated main conducting wire 160 while surrounding the light source 140, and a first central supporting body. The light source has first and second end parts. The first end part is electrically connected to the non-insulated main conducting wire, and the second end part is connected to a stem lead wire 180. The first central supporting body 150 supports the shroud and the light source, and mechanically connects the shroud and the light source to the non-insulated main conducting wire 160.
