PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide best door opening/closing property even if detailed information for a link structure is uncertain when an existing door device for an elevator is repaired. SOLUTION: Existing car door panel 1 and driving mechanisms 7, 8 are left, a door motor 11, a motor speed detector 12 and a door control unit 16 are withdrawn and exchanged for new products and a new door speed detector 13 is installed. A door speed command is generated from an indicated door opening/closing time and a moving distance of the door panel 1 with control operation, the speed ratio of a door moving speed to a motor rotating speed is computed, and the door speed command is converted into a motor speed command in accordance with the result.
